The 9th of June is this Saturday's NW Topper Traveller Event is hosted by Ullswater Yacht Club in the idylic surroundings of the North Lakes, just off the A66 near Penrith.
It's a combined event with the NWJTT sailors so expect there to be plenty of other boats about on the water - including club sailors from Ullswater.
Ullswater Yacht Club is ninety three miles from Southport and the journey is expected to take about two hours. It's a relatively easy run straight up the M6 then turn left on the A66.

Ullswater YC have published an entry form for completion prior to the event and it can be downloaded here. They have also published the Notice of Race.
It is expected that the first race will be started at 11:00 hrs, so expect a briefing at 10:30, that means to get there by 10:00 with time to rig boats and get changed you'll have to leave at 08:00 at the very latest. Aim for 07:00 to give time for a coffee, and perhaps a "FEB", at the service station on the M6 at Burton.
